## About the speakers

### Sam Jernigan

Sam Jernigan is an official advisor to Scroll, an Ethereum zkEVM. Sam is a global macro investor with over 15yrs of experience trading a wide range of asset classes. Most recently, he built and ran Crypto at Moore Capital in New York City. Prior to Moore, Sam launched the first global macro fund that could trade digital assets out of Mike Novogratz Family Office. While there he helped pioneer the crypto options market and executed the first ever option on ETH. He began his career at Bear Stearns and then JPMorgan, where he worked in proprietary trading until the Volker rule was enacted in 2012.

### Cynthia Wu

As COO, Cynthia oversees the business operation and leads global business development and sales. Previously Investment Director at Bitmain Technologies, Cynthia focused on investments in blockchain technology and decentralized applications. Prior to venturing into crypto, Cynthia was Vice President at Hong Kong Exchange (HKEX), responsible for derivatives product development and institutional sales. She started her career in HK as a commodities trader.

### Sam MacPherson

Former Protocol Engineer at MakerDAO. Focused on building the Spark SubDAO - DeFi integrations for Maker.

### Marcin Kazmierczak

In the blockchain space since 2017, ex-Google Cloud PM, attended 30+ hackathons and conferences, winner of ETHBogota 2022. Co-Founder of ETHWarsaw hackathon & conference. Marcin has a broad understanding of Web3 infrastructure and integration aspects.
