## Description

Welcome to Swarm Summit This video features the opening speech at the 2024 SWARM Summit in Ljubljana. The host, Antonio, shares a story about Brixton's transformation from a creative hub to a commercialized neighborhood to illustrate how digital communities can similarly lose their innovative spirit due to centralization and control. He emphasizes the importance of embedding values like information neutrality and resistance to censorship in digital applications to ensure that creators and innovators are not pushed out. Antonio encourages attendees to be mindful of the values they incorporate into their work, as these will shape the future. He concludes with a reflection on Steve Jobs' impact, underscoring the collective desire to bring a better future closer.
