Ayman Mohammed leads a hands-on workshop on Self, a privacy-preserving identity protocol for Sybil resistance and selective disclosure. Learn how Self keeps PII out of centralized databases by storing data only on the user’s device, then proves facts with ZK proofs (age ≥ 18, not in forbidden countries, OFAC checks) without revealing raw data.

The session covers the front-end QR/deeplink flow, TEEs for proof generation, on-chain SDK (Solidity) and off-chain SDK (TypeScript/Go), setting verification configs (scope, minimum age, excluded countries), deriving a scope seed, and wiring contracts (constructor with Hub, custom verification hook, setScope). Ayman also demos Aadhaar support plans, passport MRZ/NFC flows, mock documents, failure paths, and bounty tiers for on-chain and off-chain integrations.
