Um, we are a beautiful result of what the cross-pollination of arts and robotics can become, but also art and tech. Um Scott and I are part of the art team. Uh and then our roboticists are back home in San Francisco where we are based and located. >> Yeah. So 7 months ago we had a little basement in San Francisco where we had the opportunity to create a boxing ring underground robot fight match. And uh we have >> I didn't say no to that. I don't say no. Can't really say no to that request. the universe knocks and you say, "Sure, buddy." >> I guess so. Um, yeah. So, uh, that was July, beginning of July. Um, and that event took off like, uh, wildfire. Uh, the next event was hosted a month later. We were blessed with a three-page spread in the New York Times. Uh, we had Washington Post come out. um lots of media just off of one event. Uh I think it really shows what we can all create together when we're working across different industries. Uh should we should we do a little >> make them dance? >> Should we make them dance? >> We love watching the robots dance. They dance. They fight. >> So, it's pretty exciting because robots uh robotics is evolving every single week. Uh when we when we first came in, they gave us robots that would fall over the moment that they were touched. Um and now what what month is it? What what time is it? What month is it? >> Month We'll say seven. >> We're like month seven. Uh and these guys are just advancing so quickly. Um it's pretty astonishing. Uh we're now able to move into other areas instead of having robots fight. We're having them dance. Uh they went clubbing last night. Uh um they were dancing with the DJ. Uh yeah, there's just a lot that we can do with this new partnership of humans uh partnering with robots. Uh we get some questions. Uh people ask us about our pilots. Uh who's piloting the robots? Is it AI? Uh is it humans? I prefer humans. I think the relationships that we have with machines is very important. I personally would like to keep the fun jobs and give away the boring jobs. They can wash my dishes. But if we can have that relationship where we can fight together, that's pretty sweet. I don't know how you guys feel about that, but we got one. Yeah. >> Sweet. And for the hackers in the house, I know this is the hacker stage. Uh there is always an open development pipeline into getting these things to develop new fighting moves, uh new dances, new training protocols. Uh you can look up ufb.gg GG and uh you know keep an eye peeled for all of these uh you know we have hackathons in the Bay uh MIT uh like last month and there is a >> last week we did one at Stanford tree hacks >> we're kind of all over um >> yeah yeah uh so it's pretty it's pretty straightforward what we do it's in the name Ultimate Fighting Bots. That's uh you can let your imagination run wild, but it's right there um in the name. Is there any questions? Uh so these are not uh we can't get them in fighting mode because the Wi-Fi is really noisy in the in the hacker space, believe it or not. So, we're going to do a good old-fashioned danceoff slash random move K1 robot fight. So, let's get We got to do a proper UFB here. So, we're going to lift up the energy from like standard uh uh standard thing. So, let's get uh oh oh hold on hold on. We need to get some rules. This is a this is a well reggulated league.
