So curiosities led me to the web three space timeline seeing a lot of things about web 3. So I was trying to think how can I bring my skills from web 2 into web 3 as a project manager. So I decided to follow signal and signal led me to web3 bridge. >> You know uh at the point in your life you just need to take some risk. Before coming to web3 bridge I I was serving in a place that I I knew that I could literally get an offer after service after the after the um assessment I was just so convinced that I will be in Lagos. I was just convinced I'll be in Lotus and it it happened so well that the day I got my um um is it pop certificate that is the same day my cousin called me like check your email and I I was so happy. >> Yeah the feeling was topnotch was heavenly because I understood what it meant to be rejected. I'm a certified project management professional. So I basically manage um development teams and I move project forward. I'm also a public servant. >> Before web three bridge I have actually been everywhere from trading to development to community like I've just been everywhere. >> My final year project was on smart contract auditing using Ethereum as a case study. I have been interested in web 3 for for a long while. Right, even before I had a solid web two skills, I had worked on a web 3 project with a group of friends. But then I had to step back to improve my um my web two skills and that was over years. I tried to come back to web three but given that I also had to I also had responsibilities to um attend to I was mostly distracted. I was just building and giving back to the community. >> Yeah. I know that online the online experience is really good but it's kind of limiting. Yeah. So but on site you get to you know um meet like minds. You get to meet like minds, collaborate with people, you get to see opportunities and there's this there's this vibe that that that is on side that you have that you see on side. Yeah. So yeah on side is just out of it. Sometimes you may have the discipline but you will need to keep seeing those that are like better than you just for the pressure. You have to like stay in that condition. It's just for me. I need that environment that will pressure me to like keep doing better. >> Uh someone I met with a founder in the space and he told me a very important nugget that there's nothing has been as there's nothing as important as being in the community of like mind. So there's nothing that was going to be being on site with people where you can share ideas and brainstorm over problems with compared to being online where there's a lot of distractions and you're allowed to do things on your own side on your own time. So coming to web bridge will give structure and a proper learning environment to connect to like minds. >> I felt like I'd lost this sort of you know zeal to uh to build stuff right and for the first time I started considering what would it look like if I was to learn in an online setting. In fact the whole experience is new coming here. >> I wanted to meet um network and you know share ideas and a lot of things. I joined web 3 bridge online but then again there were limitations and all of that distractions that made me not to get the reason why I joined three bridge. So um with that being said I noticed that also very important the visibility that comes with being on site. So that was when I made I made up my mind that okay I must be on site because when I applied for the bridge to go then I applied for on site then I wasn't I didn't come I didn't get it. So I made it a point upon myself that I put in my work to make sure I come this one side without >> in web three bridge I have been given access to like a lot of people with the same mindset as me and it's quite easy learning when there are like people around you that think alike and there are also resources like there is >> food right before the class which is quite useful because then it means that the brain would have reset ed and prepared for the class. Also the um the electricity, the water supply and the intentionality behind making us very comfortable >> at home and this is Nigeria. You know you you cannot vouch even even even though you create the time you cannot vouch for light and you know you need to be consistent in this thing and web have solved that problem drastically because you have a very conducive environment where you learn >> comfortable but not too comfortable environment because if you get you comfortable end up like see yourself slacking off >> the web page build is doing a lot actually they've gone far and beyond to make everybody feel comfortable so I think that will really help in focusing on the right things not bothering about. So there's no lights, there's no internet. Those things are provided for. So I don't think there should be any distractions. It's just for each individual to just lock in. Personally, when I think of being a referee bridge student, there is this >> Yeah. >> One person is the form convoy. One candidate for convoy. >> I'm a part of an elite group of um for thinkers and people that are going to change and revolutionize the web space. It's just telling me I have to be good because any everybody and everything that Web3 bridge is known for has always been good. >> Being a part of something bigger than your own self, web 3 bridge is a community and we are growing fast and we are even going to grow beyond this. So I want to be involved in that. the the main goal why I'm here is to understand more about um solidity because I I want to measure on smart I want to focus on on smart contract auditing and for me to excel there I need to have grand knowledge and I believe here I will I will meet people and that will help me to achieve that >> uh within the next 16 weeks I hope to be well grounded in web 3 development and also be able to have built a decentralized application from scratch to top. >> I hope to have um be um involved with like a lot of amazing builders like crack builders who are like open to um build amazing um reward solutions and also of course I want to make money. At the end of um the 16 weeks that would spend year learning, I hope to be to build amazing products on the blockchain. In fact, I look forward to becoming a security researcher on the blockchain because I love research. >> I've always wanted to add founder co-founder to my name. So, I can't wait to become a co-founder. To the organizers of web 3 bridge, I want to say big thank you. I see the intentionality. I see the the efforts that we're put into trying to make us comfortable, trying to provide a good learning environment and to give us the structure that is necessary for us to advance in our growth and for that I say a big thank you. >> Uh I'll first say thanks for the opportunity bridge and I hope I'll be a big part of the success one of their success stories. Well, shout out to Electro Bridge and for the fact you keep doing it for free is a very impressive something. So, yeah, shout out. Thank you very much Bridge. Thank you so much. Like, thank you. If there's any other thing that's bigger than watch, just thank you. You rock.
