This talk at Pragma Paris 2023 unveils how Succinct uses ZK proofs to eliminate trusted intermediaries and introduces the new State Query protocol, allowing smart contracts to pull data from other chains in real time. Discover how Telepathy is already securing real bridges like Gnosis, powering governance with Compound, and enabling NFT-gated logic across chains. From messaging to pull-based state queries, this is a must-watch for developers building multi-chain dApps, governance systems, gaming protocols, or ZK-powered infrastructure. 00:00 Introduction to Succinct and Telepathy 00:30 ZK light clients for secure interoperability 01:44 How the Ethereum ZK light client works 02:47 Launch of Telepathy protocol and use cases 03:49 Mainnet integrations and current adopters 04:52 Live demo: Messaging with Telepathy protocol 05:57 Explorer view and validation on Gnosis 06:58 Introducing Telepathy State Queries 07:30 Querying view functions across chains 08:33 Use case: NFT-gated voting via L1 data 09:10 Just-in-time cross-chain data access 09:39 Developer use cases and call to action _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ πŸ‡«πŸ‡· *Pragma Paris* Pragma Paris took place at the Pavillion Vendome in Paris on July 20, 2023, and was an in-person summit for builders and leaders in the web3 ecosystem. Pragma is a one-stage conference with founders-only on stage, bringing together a small group of curated attendees and speakers to discuss the future of web3 and reflect on the past. Ever since we first introduced our new event series Pragma in Tokyo of the spring of 2023, we have been fostering a curated, global community of individuals who deeply care about web3. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ βœ… *Follow Uma Roy* X: https://x.com/pumatheuma βœ… *Follow Succinct* X: https://x.com/succinctlabs βœ… *Follow ETHGlobal* X: https://x.com/ETHGlobal Warpcast: https://warpcast.com/ethglobal Website: https://ethglobal.com YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/c/ETHGlobal _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _Are you interested in Ethereum development and entrepreneurship?_ πŸ‘‰ Sign up for the next ETHGlobal event: https://ethglobal.com/events 🎁 Get exclusive access and perks with ETHGlobal Plus! https://ethglobal.com/plus πŸ“£ Want us to throw an event in your city?
