## Description

Scott Moore, co-founder of Gitcoin and Public Works, discusses the future of funding for open-source software and digital public goods. He shares insights on quadratic funding—a democratic mechanism designed to empower communities in deciding which public goods receive support. This approach allows collective investment to flow toward projects with the most community impact, democratizing resource distribution.

Scott reflects on the broader mission behind public goods, emphasizing the potential of online communities to drive real-world change. He underscores that supporting digital public goods, like open-source software, is about enabling essential infrastructure for Web3 and beyond—tools that empower communities and advance shared goals.
