## Description

Camila Russo, founder of The Defiant and one of the most respected journalists in crypto, joins Pragma New York 2023 to dissect the realities behind decentralization in Web3. In this hard-hitting interview, Camila breaks down what she calls “Crypto Theater”: decentralization theater, governance theater, community theater, and DeFi musical chairs.

With clarity and honesty, she explains how most protocols today operate under the illusion of decentralization while maintaining centralized control—and why that’s dangerous for the future of crypto, regulation, and user trust. She also shares early details of her new initiative, the DeFi League, aimed at bringing transparency and accountability to the space. This is a must-watch for builders, DAO participants, DeFi users, and anyone passionate about crypto’s promise.
