## Description

The Future Home of Open Source: Fintan Halpenny asks what happens when most open source lives on a single platform, and outlines the risks that come with that dependency. He then introduces Radicle’s approach: keeping issues and code together in git, designed to work local-first and even offline. The talk ends with a brief look at Radicle’s direction on more distributed build and test workflows.

Speaker: Fintan Halpenny (Radicle)

This session was part of the 14th edition of Funding the Commons, held November 19, 2025, at Fundación Beethoven in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
