## Description

Jake Hall introduces Hedera (hashgraph L1) and shows three ways to build: SDKs (JS/Java/Rust, plus Go/Swift/Python), EVM-compatible contracts, and a hybrid pattern that calls native services (token/consensus/schedule) from Solidity for high throughput and low cost. Demos: Playground (create account, token, airdrop), Consensus Service (pub/sub, attestations), Schedule Service (on-chain cron/multisig), Contract Builder (deploy/verify ERC-20), HTS system contract, and the Hedera Agent Kit for AI agents (plugins/adapters). Q&A covers gas sponsorship, scheduling semantics, RPC limits, governance, when to choose SDK vs Solidity.

00:10 Hedera intro: hashgraph, fair ordering, fixed USD fees, dev options
01:58 Hedera Playground tour (SDKs, create account/token/airdrop)
07:04 Consensus Service (topics, attestations)
09:21 Schedule Service (on-chain cron, multisig flow)
10:47 EVM Contract Builder (deploy/verify ERC-20, MetaMask setup)
13:46 Hybrid pattern: HTS system contract, ERC-equivalents
17:15 Hedera Agent Kit: plugins, AI adapters, custom tools
20:23 Q&A: gas sponsorship, scheduling behavior
25:16 RPCs/rate limits; nodes & governance
29:20 When to use JS SDK vs Solidity (guidance)
