## Description

Join us for the ETHOnline 2023 Upgrade Summit!

In this talk, we cover EIP-6963 and how the current user experience of browser extension wallets is lacking, primarily due to the absence of a standard for connecting wallets of the same type. The status quo leads to unpredictable and often clumsy user experiences with extension-based browser wallets. EIP-6963 introduces a new communication channel between applications and browser extension wallets, standardizing how multiple injected wallet providers are detected and displayed. This change aims to provide a better, more predictable, and controlled user experience.

ETHOnline 2023 has grown into one of the most exciting events on our calendar, anticipated by hackers all over the world.

ETHOnline is a three week long online hackathon with over $200,000 USD in prizes as well as a series of curated summits, celebrating some of the most significant happenings & learnings from the past 12 months in web3.
