## Description

What does it mean to accelerate humanity? In this wide-ranging conversation at Pragma India 2023, Juan Benet (creator of IPFS and Filecoin) sits down to explore how Web3, cryptography, and incentive structures can reshape economics, governance, scientific research, and internet infrastructure. From accelerationism vs. decelerationism to rethinking capital flows, R&D, decentralized science (DeSci), and even launching crypto-powered satellites, this talk challenges us to consider how we can build a freer, safer, and more powerful world through permissionless innovation.

Discover how blockchain and cryptographic tools can fund science at the scale of nation-states, enable universal basic income, create verifiable storage systems, and build a human rights–preserving internet—all without needing government approval. If you care about the intersection of technology, humanity, and the future, this conversation is a must-watch.
