## Description

In this fireside chat, Tomasz Stanczak, Co-executive Director of the Ethereum Foundation, and Kartik Talwar, Co-founder of ETHGlobal, discuss the future of the Ethereum protocol, focusing on upcoming upgrades, scalability, and institutional adoption. Key topics include the Fusaka and Glamsterdam upgrades, which will enhance L2 scaling, blob capacity, and overall network throughput. They highlight the progress of ZKVMs, aiming for significant gas and transaction improvements, and the evolving role of Ethereum Layer 1 versus Layer 2 for different applications.

The conversation covers enterprise and financial institution interest, stablecoin initiatives, and the migration of projects from custom L1s to Ethereum L2s for better integration and activity. The importance of Ethereum as a global coordination layer, its potential integration with AI and robotics, and the need for collaboration between traditional finance and web3 builders are emphasized. The session concludes with a call to action for building impactful products on Ethereum, leveraging its robust ecosystem and upcoming technical advancements.
