## Description

Blockchain for Everyone: Free Mobile, Real Utility, and Mass Adoption in LATAM: Henry Baiz breaks down what it will take to bring the next billion people on-chain by starting from everyday needs, not crypto culture. Blockchain is still “pre-chasm,” and real adoption is most likely to come through payments, remittances, and savings—especially via stablecoins.

Henry then introduces Gane, a prepaid mobile platform that turns phone credit into a practical on-ramp: users can earn connectivity through verified engagement and build comfort with wallets and stablecoins without starting from speculation.

Speaker: Henry Baiz (Gane)

This session was part of the 14th edition of Funding the Commons, held November 19, 2025, at Fundación Beethoven in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
