## Description

Turning ETH Staking into Education, Connectivity, Trees, and Cash Aid: Jaydeep Korde outlines “impact staking” as a way to fund social projects using staking or DeFi yield, so donors can keep custody of their capital while directing a share of returns to organizations over time.

He shares early examples with groups like UNICEF Giga, GiveDirectly, UNHCR, and Mercy Corps Ventures, plus stablecoin-based experiments to reduce volatility and make the model easier for institutions to adopt.

Speaker: Jaydeep Korde (Launchnodes)

This session was part of the 14th edition of Funding the Commons, held November 19, 2025, at Fundación Beethoven in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
