hello dear attendees of web 3 privacy I would like to talk about cypherpunk and I would like to talk about something that is quite important I'm Ur bedar I wrote this book about cyer Bank Trends and Visions for the years uh 2023 and 2025 where I uh kind of talk about Cypher pun movement and especially what's uh here and what's coming next I didn't Envision the uh tornado cash um problem exactly and uh it CAU me as a surprise as many of us and what I would like to uh tell you about is some kind of fundamental change in how we develop software that brings privacy I think we are not welcome and uh this strategy of detaching our bodies from certain actions is viewed as a a threat and um as we have seen in many recent arrests and persecution of software developers um this uh becomes problematic so what I would like to suggest is that we find a way to detach our identities from our software development work so what does it mean uh we need to find a way to develop open-source privacy software uh especially open source uh privacy software but it might be proprietary but uh let's focus on open source um and uh find a way how we can detach the identity and that uh means also pseudonyms of people who are writing the software we are used um uh to um kind of um uh be uh known for our work uh we are used to be guests and uh in in podcasts and speakers in conferences even with mask Zone uh I really like this recent Trend that we don't show our face but also um voice is problematic and um also permanent ponm is I think problematic so I think we need um uh to do um U anonymos uh comits with uh throwaway identity basically per each commit or a larger contribution and uh we need to find a way how to finance it so maybe some kind of a bounty system for contributors this is a problem that needs to be solved somehow select um the developer we don't have reputation because this is not a repeat transaction um it probably will be a repeat transaction but uh the uh next iteration of this transaction will be under a different uh identity and we need uh to find a way how to review code how to pay for the development work without having this continuous um identity with all the perks like reputation and fame and all the other things I think this is something we need to start experimenting with and uh that's uh the SA Bank strategy against uh persecution that uh we actually that's how we use the software we develop um uh how how we use it for so uh so just food for thought uh please think about it maybe if you write some software uh or if you maintain software try to find a way if this is uh doable in your project thank you and have fun at this beautiful event bye-bye
