## Description

Join Jesse Pollak, Head of Base at Coinbase, as he shares how to build L2 networks people actually use, drawing from Base’s milestone of 1 billion+ transactions.

In this candid talk from Pragma Bangkok, Jesse reveals how strategic developer tools, global marketing, and an “everyone’s a builder” ethos created unstoppable growth. Learn why L2 synergy with Ethereum is vital—not contentious—and how continuous scaling (a target of “Giga-gas” block space), smoother onboarding for developers, and user-friendly wallets can unlock a billion-person onchain economy.

Jesse highlights two breakout categories—payments and social—that he predicts will drive exponential adoption. Discover how to merge viral social experiences with integrated payments, stablecoins, and truly inclusive wallet design to bring the next wave of onchain users.
