## Description

Chief Scientist at the Ethereum Foundation and creator of the Ethereum protocol, Vitalik Buterin describes his short and medium term vision for Ethereum scaling.

Vitalik describes ultra-high scaling with sharding + rollups, how sharding is *not cancelled*, and how projects should focus on getting on a rollup in order to access 100x scaling even without Eth2.
