## Description

Jayant Krishnamurthy, CTO and co-founder of Pyth Network, breaks down why DeFi struggles to compete with traditional finance (TradFi) and how infrastructure improvements can bridge the gap. He compares DeFi and TradFi across speed, cost, and trust, highlighting key pain points like high gas fees, slow transactions, and security risks.

Krishnamurthy also explores how Pyth Network’s solutions—such as low-latency price feeds, on-chain randomness, and MEV reduction—are paving the way for a more efficient DeFi ecosystem. Learn how better infrastructure can enable DeFi to finally rival TradFi in usability and adoption.
