In this workshop, Luca Malpiedi, head of growth at KeeperHub (built by the MakerDAO/Sky Protocol devops team), introduces KeeperHub as the reliable execution layer for on-chain agents. He explains how KeeperHub fits into the agent stack beneath reasoning frameworks (LangGraph, OpenClaw, Eliza OS) and communication protocols (MCP, A2A), handling the critical gap where network congestion, gas spikes, and silent failures kill agent transactions. KeeperHub manages retries, gas adaptation, transaction simulation, signing, and full audit trails with SLA backing.

Luca walks through the platform's two core interaction modes: direct execution (agent calls a contract and KeeperHub lands the transaction) and workflows (agent creates persistent automations with triggers, conditions, and actions that run continuously). He demos building a vault monitoring workflow in Claude via the MCP server in about 40 seconds — from natural language intent to a live workflow with cron triggers, condition checks, ERC-4626 deposit actions, and Discord notifications. For the hackathon, he outlines three contribution directions: new protocol/chain integrations as plugins, framework wrappers for tools like OpenClaw and Eliza OS, and new developer features like simulation debugging or wiring published strategies to ERC-7804 agent registries with X2X payment rails.
