## Description

Join Isidro Vega from Rootstock Labs in this ETHGlobal Taipei 2025 workshop as he explores Rootstock (RSK), the first Bitcoin sidechain that combines Bitcoin's security with Ethereum's programmability. Learn how Rootstock enables DeFi on Bitcoin through EVM compatibility, merge mining, and a decentralized two-way peg bridge.

Discover key stats like $300M TVL, 3,000+ BTC locked, and 80% Bitcoin hash rate security, along with developer tools, grants programs, and hackathon tracks for DeFi, AI, real-world assets, and more. Whether you're building lending protocols, yield farms, or cross-chain solutions, this workshop provides essential insights into the Rootstock ecosystem.
