EVM Future Panel Discussion

In addition to numerous smaller improvements to the EVM, there are two significant change proposals that aim to significantly change the EVM: the EVM Object Format (EOF) and EVMMAX (Modular Arithmetic Extensions). While this panel will likely focus more on these two proposals, we also intend to discuss other proposals.

Danno Ferrin is a seasoned Ethereum core developer with a deep-rooted passion for the technology. He has been focused the evolution of the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), contributing significantly to its ongoing development and optimization. With a background spanning roles at Oracle, Google, and ConsenSys, Danno brings a wealth of experience to his work on Ethereum. He is currently an independent contributor to the ecosystem.

Greg's career spans decades, from a psychology PhD at Cornell through artificial intelligence, optical storage, and information retrieval startups in Boulder and San Francisco, optimization of the JVM interpreter in the Oracle kernel, long service on the C++ standards committee, and EVM R&D and Ethereum community development. He likes fast cars, loud guitars, and challenging projects that advance the state of the art.

Hari is a co-founder of Spearbit and Cantina. He was previously part of the Solidity team at the Ethereum Foundation.
