An emerging idea is a Waku-based service marketplace, where developers can pay independent providers to deliver infrastructure services, such as querying historic messages, directly to their users off-chain. Using a marketplace instead of running their own nodes reduces complexity for dapp developers, avoids single points of failure, and improves decentralization.
