Rethinking Enterprise Blockchain | European Blockchain Convention 9
Wed, Oct 2, 2024, 12:00 AM
In this keynote, Adi Ben-Ari, CEO of Applied Blockchain, presented the company's seven years of experience in blockchain solutions development, highlighting their platform called Silent Data. Focused on enterprise needs, Silent Data aims to balance the benefits of public blockchains' innovation and private blockchains' data privacy. Benari discussed the challenges faced by businesses in adopting private blockchains, emphasizing the difficulty in achieving network participation due to the burdensome nature of hosting nodes. Applied Blockchain's solution involves a "Silent Data Roll-Up," maintaining data integrity on a private blockchain with hardware-protected privacy. This private blockchain then "rolls up" transactions to a public network like Ethereum, proving their validity without revealing sensitive data. The configurable data privacy allows for transparency where needed while protecting sensitive information. Additionally, Adi introduced the "Silent Data Oracle," which enables blockchain applications to use external data securely without compromising privacy. The technology utilizes Intel's SGX, and Applied Blockchain's work has received recognition and awards, providing a solution that addresses key challenges in enterprise blockchain adoption. --------- Speaker: Adi Ben-Ari | Applied Blockchain --------- The European Blockchain Convention is the most influential blockchain event in Europe.
