Web3 has a user adoption problem. In this talk, we'll explore how The Open Network (TON) is leveraging its integration with Telegram's ecosystem of over 1 billion users. We'll dive into the practical opportunities for developers, including building viral mini-apps, revolutionizing payments, building fun games, creating user-friendly DeFi and AI solutions. This session will provide a clear roadmap for builders to tap into a massive, ready-made audience and create applications that go beyond the crypto-native community. As TON Europe Hub Lead for the TON Foundation, Julien Paredes is on a mission to educate, empower, and unlock what’s possible with TON. He spearheads developer relations and ecosystem growth by organizing educational programs with developers and universities, and strategic partnerships across Europe. His work focuses on leveraging TON's unique integration with Telegram to empower the next generation of builders to create innovative solutions in Gaming, AI, Payments, Simplified DeFi and Telegram mini-apps, ultimately bringing Web3 to the masses. This video was recorded during the ETHSofia Conference and Workshops - September 24-25th, 2025. ETHSofia is Bulgaria’s premier crypto event exploring Ethereum technology and blockchain innovation. In 2025, it’s set to unite builders, founders, researchers, investors, and crypto enthusiasts to collaboratively shape the future of Web3. For more information visit our website. Links in our channel.
