OpenSea MCP Workshop I Chris Korhonen

Thu, Oct 2, 2025, 12:00 AM

Chris Korhonen from OpenSea introduces OpenSea MCP (Multi-Chain Protocol), an API designed to empower AI agents and LLMs to access and interact with OpenSea’s data and services across 20+ blockchains, including NFTs, tokens, and DeFi assets. MCP acts as a universal connector, enabling AI-driven workflows such as portfolio analysis, trading automation, security checks, and personalized recommendations. Chris demonstrates integration with tools like Chorus and Vel’s AI SDK, highlighting features like natural language queries, analytics, swaps, and self-documenting APIs. Use cases span market insights, search/discovery, wallet analysis, and automated trading. OpenSea encourages developers to build innovative AI agents using MCP, offering a $10,000 prize for the best projects. Beta access is available, with broader rollout planned. The session emphasizes AI’s transformative role in Web3, seamless agent integration, and the potential for community-driven innovation. 00:00 Introduction 00:39 OpenSea’s Evolution & OS2 01:34 AI at OpenSea & Internal Use Cases 02:16 Why MCP?
