Babylon: Bitcoin Security for All

Babylon is a new Cosmos chain which brings Bitcoin security to the Cosmos ecosystem and beyond. In this talk, I will describe 1) the technology we have built that enables us to scale to support hundreds and thousands of IBC-enabled chains; 2) use cases of Bitcoin security such as securing large transactions and reducing the stake unbonding time from weeks to less than a day; 3) our current integration efforts with many chains in Cosmos and beyond. David Tse Co-founder BabylonChain David Tse is the co-founder of BabylonChain, which brings Bitcoin security to Cosmos and other Proof-of-Stake chains. He is also the Thomas Kailath and Guanghan Xu Professor at Stanford University, where he leads a research lab focusing on blockchain consensus protocols. He is a member of the U.S. National Academy of Engineering, and received the IEEE Claude E. Shannon Award and the IEEE Richard W. Hamming Medal.
