Celo, having transitioned from an L1 to an OP Stack-based L2, leverages optimistic rollup architecture with ZK (zero-knowledge) fault proofs, enabling low transaction fees and rapid finality. The Eclair testnet showcases real-time proving, synchronous composability, and Celo-specific features like stablecoin gas payments and ERC20/native token duality. The integration of SP1 allows for fast, efficient ZK proofs, while EigenDA v2 improves data throughput and validation speed. Marek demonstrates a live challenge-response proving process, highlighting the network’s security and speed.
