Agent Bootcamp with x402 I Lincoln Murr

Thu, Oct 2, 2025, 12:00 AM

Lincoln Murr, Product Lead for Coinbase Developer Platforms (CDP), introduces X42, a protocol enabling AI agents to natively pay for API requests, data, and services using crypto wallets, specifically stablecoins. X42 aims to eliminate API keys, streamline agentic commerce, and foster a machine-to-machine economy. The talk covers the X42 Bazaar, a marketplace for discoverable agent-enabled services, and demonstrates embedded wallets for seamless onboarding. Lincoln highlights developer resources, including GitHub repos, documentation, and Discord support, and encourages building new APIs, improving the X42 spec, and integrating with other CDP tools like on-ramps and embedded wallets. Q&A addresses API compatibility, multi-chain/token support, and project ideas for hackathon participants. X42 is positioned as an open standard, not just a Coinbase product, aiming for broad ecosystem adoption and innovation in agentic payments, microtransactions, and autonomous digital agents. 00:00 Introduction 00:40 What is X42?
