Last year at ETHDenver, I released the Collective DAO Archives, a set of open source resources documenting the development of ~20 DAOs in Ethereum, summarizing the takeaways from reading thousands of forum posts. This year, I'd like to release another set of resources as an addition to the Collective DAO Archives, which map out the organizational designs of ~20 DAOs and their evolution over time. In the course of creating organizational maps of each DAO, I've identified 12 DAO Design Principles, which we use at the Optimism Foundation and which I'd also like to open source as part of this presentation.
