What is SUAVE, and why is it the future of MEV? Join Robert Miller from Flashbots at Pragma Paris 2023 as he introduces SUAVE (Single Unifying Auction for Value Expression) — Flashbots’ groundbreaking decentralized block-building network that reimagines how MEV (Maximal Extractable Value) is handled across Ethereum and beyond. In this talk, Robert explains the challenges of today's MEV supply chain, the limitations of existing infrastructure, and how SUAVE and the MEVM (MEV-optimized EVM) offer a programmable, scalable, and decentralized future for block production. Learn how SUAVE enables confidential block building, supports private order flow, and unlocks permissionless innovation for developers and validators through smart contracts. This talk is essential for Ethereum developers, researchers, rollup builders, and anyone working on next-generation blockchain infrastructure. 0:00 Intro to Robert Miller and SUAVE 00:45 Overview of the MEV supply chain 01:57 Centralization in today’s MEV infrastructure 03:34 Why MEV infra can’t run on Ethereum today 04:38 Introducing the MEVM (MEV-optimized EVM) 05:47 SUAVE architecture and components explained 07:03 Trusted execution environments and private compute 08:09 MEVM smart contract example: block builder in Solidity 09:44 Use cases for MEVM-powered block builders 10:43 SUAVE as a platform for multi-chain block building 11:45 Testnet milestones and Centauri devnet 12:16 Roadmap toward Andromeda and trustless execution 12:48 Call to action: integrations, hiring, and next steps _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ 🇫🇷 *Pragma Paris* Pragma Paris took place at the Pavillion Vendome in Paris on July 20, 2023, and was an in-person summit for builders and leaders in the web3 ecosystem. Pragma is a one-stage conference with founders-only on stage, bringing together a small group of curated attendees and speakers to discuss the future of web3 and reflect on the past. Ever since we first introduced our new event series Pragma in Tokyo of the spring of 2023, we have been fostering a curated, global community of individuals who deeply care about web3. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ ✅ *Follow ETHGlobal* X: https://x.com/ETHGlobal Warpcast: https://warpcast.com/ethglobal Website: https://ethglobal.com YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/c/ETHGlobal _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _Are you interested in Ethereum development and entrepreneurship?_ 👉 Sign up for the next ETHGlobal event: https://ethglobal.com/events 🎁 Get exclusive access and perks with ETHGlobal Plus! https://ethglobal.com/plus 📣 Want us to throw an event in your city?
