Neo-cypherpunk Summit presents Arturo Filastro (OONI, ex-Tor, GlobaLeaks) Drawing upon our decade-long experience in measuring the internet around the world, we will show how the the global censorship landscape has changed, and what are the new challenges and opportunities to use rich technical data to fight it. Arturo Filastò founded the Open Observatory of Network Interference (OONI) in 2011 and serves as Executive Director and CTO. He previously worked for the Tor Project and created several free software projects that promote human rights, such as GlobaLeaks. He co-founded and serves as the Vice-President of the Hermes Center for Digital Human Rights. Arturo studied Mathematics and Computer Science at Università di Roma “La Sapienza”".
