Will Shannon, Lido: The Power of DVT for Liquid Staking Protocols | ETHSofia

Explore the impact of Decentralized Validator Technologies (DVT) on liquid staking and the role it’s playing in expanding the Lido Node Operator set. This talk will discuss how the Simple DVT and Community Staking Modules have made running validators via the Lido protocol accessible to hundreds of solo and community stakers, while at the same time enhancing the security and diversity of the Ethereum staking ecosystem. Will Shannon has been contributing to the Lido DAO for two years, now as the Head of Strategic Initiatives in the Node Operator Mechanisms (NOM) workstream. His current focus is on coordinating the Simple DVT Module and integrating Distributed Validator Technology via testnets and mainnet onboarding. Previously, he worked in Institutional TMT Equity Sales and studied Finance and Accounting.
