[Music] okay guys um again I'm really sorry for just missing the time slot if you were if you were waiting for like 4 p.m. which probably you weren't right but still so um okay yeah definitely so my the topic of my presentation is uh zero knowledge proofs on Mina ziki passport and soulbound nfts so the I mean you're probably if you're here you probably want to to know more about Mina because they have um numerous Grant programs right or you're curious about Z passport or how the infrastructure is going to um influence ethereum right or just blockchain in general so just I'm not really sure if you can see the the slides from from the back but um so this slide is actually presenting me right and I've got around like 20 million AR votes delegated in two in two elections on Snapshot for procurement committee and um the advocate for arbitrum um so I I've build uh a block um a blockchain um data science block which got around um like half a million impressions on Google and um we got bounties from um from numerous blockchain organizations including like Unis Swap and um um reflex sorry which is a stable coin on ethereum so what keeps bothering me for example about ethereum is that when you actually search for data on ethereum or like what you're going to do on ethereum all you see is the total value locked and um like this data I think is from um defy Lama right it's also like this is the first graph that you see that okay so I keep complaining that um the first thing you see when you actually browse statistics for ethereum is the total value locked right this is from L2 bit this is from defy Lama and this is from E scan again the only information you actually get is that uh what's the price of ethereum What's the total value locks what's the market cap that's it and there is not much else really uh going on on the dashboards for people that want to join ethereum or just want to contribute good in general um so I think this also kept bothering like a lot of people including like vitalic right so he created the he was one of the authors of southbound nfts art paper or like academic something I'm not really sure how to name it because it's not really um published by University right but it's more of Open Source open source open source academic work right and I think the the key example of this soulb nft uh ideology or implementation is um B up okay so Mina for my understanding I not really like checked with anybody because there is not much really expect people that I can actually communicate on this topic right and uh okay so Mina seems to be the world's first ziki blockchain with actual smart contracts on mainnet and the mainnet is happening within like two days I think maybe like tomorrow I'm not really sure um because for example something uh like at stack or scroll is actually just an extension of ethereum right and Mina is actually a blockchain fully built with uh with z and uh it has only a fixed size of 22 k kilobytes um yep and that's the selling point uh that's how the transactions and um yeah that's just how the transactions take place in the Mina Mina universe and um I think the the key aspect here is that you have block producers uh that make snarks and then you have snark that actually uh like verify the marks right it's very very interesting it's very very interesting Dynamic okay it's very very interesting Dy Dynamic but uh I think the key point you need to to know is that block producers gets rewards from Mina from Mina token and um snark get rewards from block [Music] producers so uh this is how Mina indion itself within um within the ecosystem just being for example an API um like connect with uh for example with JavaScript in the browser right just connecting to something and verifying um and verifying something um another example of um like a more abstract example of what what is possible on Mina is z passport and z passp falls into category of uh kyc identity systems yeah so um I'm just trying to figure out where what is what's the what is the actual point of view of this but um from my understanding uh the point here is that um in the web to world right we have the kyc system so for example when I got a grant from optimism right had to submit my kyc and I could not use my um like board like the the the passport of a country where I was born I had to use an identity from a country that actually um you know qualifies under under this circumstances and nobody really sure like how it works nobody's really sure what identity documents um could be trusted right and one of these documents um that for example optimism accepted was driving license another one was uh something related to a banking statement and uh another one was uh like a like a temporary permanent residency but there's so many types of this things right that you need to uh from a from a perspective of like a blockchain organization need to have a a huge like a huge budget to be sure that your processes are actually sustainable and that you're not going to be sued and just lose your your business over like a small type or or something like that right so the use cases in general from from the request for proposals in this in this case on Mina was U like proof of nationality and proof of un of uniqueness and these are the uh like the from from the perspective of this um RFP are the purposes of your documents right is that you're unique and that you're like probably like from my perspective that should have been like at really okay um so and like why I don't like passports in general is that like even on border control people don't really know what they're checking and the data from the from the from the agency that is actually responsible for checking your documents for for training for for training people to work at the b control right they've published this data that like they've um they cannot really identify um like a fraud from non-f frud uh passports right um so the chance was like 66% right that they're going to be actually positive um they're like they're 100% sure right so uh in general what's what's happening I think on the borders is that um they just have like a strict set of rules right where if you have like a passport from uh from this standard you're going through right and if you're not then you're going to have a huge uh like huge amount of uh things that you need to answer you need to you need to know um and that's really like a game theory right in general it's not really uh proven anything it's more of uh well you know that's not my that's not my responsibility so um that was also what I've replied in the eth Research Forum on ziki passport right that uh not many um apps actually um actually work right the the key the key app for for like for reading your passport on Android actually has to like you have to open your passport right to read first you first you have to read like the data from the from from the machine readable interface and then it could actually like verify that's real pper it but uh there's not much security to it it's more of an fiscated system um here's like um a link to the soulbound nfts implementation on Mina um it's probably a bit outdated and you cannot probably see the the functions but like we have the private methods we have public methods we have events we have States and uh there are only like eight states uh available per smart contracts but you can store things of chain you can verify on Mina um and verification in smart contract is gasless so um moving on to the ziki Oracle which is another great RFP from uh from from Mina which CK on um gak gak seped right and they have uh they have huge um variety of resources on ziki oracles and how they're going to implement this so uh they send me these graphs right so um I'm not really sure if you're really curious to delve into like the the math of it right probably not but um how it works is that you have like a setup then you have uh ziki oracles which don't really have an access to the initial setup and um like effectively you get the the data from from these two oracles that don't really have an access to to the full um uh privacy aspect of like of the like let's say like a private key right and you have the data of chain so um yeah there's obviously a lot more things on the the on the comment uh comment section of the slides um yep and that's really yep that's like another explanation of happens of what happens uh with ezek orle that's even that's even longer explanation of it and I guess that's it but if you're if you're curious to learn more about the Z I have like the [Music] slides right so you're more than welcome to just follow the link and uh look at the data let's give it up for we have some time left for questions in case there are any so if you do have a question feel free to raise your hand and I'll drop a mic to you [Music] yes you described several applications and use cases and most of them focused on Mina I'm not so familiar with Mina can you explain are these applications uh a specifically good example for something that goes on Mina um or these could potentially work on other ZK related [Music] chains yep so um I think from from um like I could I could answer this question from like multiple perspective right but I think you're more interested in uh just the applicability of the ideas right so there is an implementation of zik passport on ethereum right it just it takes a lot more gas and it will take a lot more resources right mini is probably one of the like the cheapest from my perspective right to just like uh to especially to verify it's it's free right uh zq Oracle uh is I think there are like multiple organization got a grant So you you're probably going to get um a lot of different vers of the zik Oracle implementation and something is like is definitely going to be like if you if you're developing right if you're if you're a developer you're probably going to stick to one of them like in the end right and um like hopefully hopefully these solutions would be like would have use cases for different sets of things right right and um so so the Z ziki Oracle that like I've just shown the graphs for it has like a huge um huge amount of of information of data of how how it works underneath like you can like go over the article the team is like very responsive but I'm just like um I'm not really sure people know what like uh MPC I have no idea like really what it is I like I have an understanding of how it works abstractly right and what they've implemented is that they've implemented like collaborative uh Prof so um like it's computed by multi multiple oracles right and the setup uh setup like adapation uh which they like really really briefly um take on the article it has like more than three notes I think something that does that answer your question good job answering the question is there any any more questions in the audience sorry um I wonder that the capacity of the current Mina z z application library and do you think that in any limitation of restrict of the current um of of of the currenta library to um to develop the app as if you have an idea to um application and would like to implement on Mina but found that the library is not strong enough to to to support it so so have have you experience [Music] that yep so um I've noticed for example right so uh I've built like a smart contract on Mina um in their latest like Builder Builder program right and uh they had like um a aight methods they've added a methods uh within the smart contract so I think it's like it's it's a bit buggy right now and people like like ziki own like companies that like ziki on are using instead of the smart contract they're using H like a circuit program that you can compile and uh host it on your server right this smart contract it's more of uh like it works it's just like it's not perfect and that's what you're trying to get like what could be improved what could be improved is that uh like there is only in the in the past versions of the Mina of like of this something like library right is that you could actually just like we one method um like change the state once per per block let's say right and with like a weight methods they're probably going to to shift it like to improve the thorough output of the smart contract and uh the the data structure that is like available on right now is just like a merket Tre so you have to to host a Merc tree like what I've done hosted Mer tree of chain and then just um verify it within the methods that the data got updated correctly or that the user has an access to this sets of like leaves right or something like that and because of the the rush to the main nut because of the rapid development like they've in the latest versions they've um they've actually shifted towards this like high th smart contracts and a lot of things broke and they're trying to fix like the signatures uh there are just like a lot of things so if I'm like if people are going to continue developing almina they probably have to stick to Circuit programs or just like um be prepared to ask uh on discords developers um and just move incrementally because this is like this is probably the most Innovative ziki ziki blockchain right because again other blockchains are just using [Music] ethereum to yeah yeah the like the the like let's say the States they're like only eight states per per smart contract yeah like the like the Mer tree could be updated to like ver tree let's say right and uh yeah yeah like the speed of the comp computations like like verification right that kind of thing but the the key the key difficulty from from from my perspective is that the the system is written in O camel does that answer your question and we have time for one more question from the audience if not we can wrap it up let's wrap it up please give it off for Pavo
