Why Some Staking Providers Will Fail After Shanghai Update with Sili Zhao Over the past 2 years, we have seen a strong trend of blockchain networks switching from DPoS to PoS for consensus which will continue after the Ethereum Shanghai upgrade. Many in the blockchain industry have welcomed this shift with enthusiasm because PoS is significantly more decentralized than DPoS and allows more individuals and entities to participate in the staking process. In this talk, I will consider the several critical technical challenges that the industry will face as it shifts from DPoS to PoS. For example, for staking providers, significantly more nodes might be required. Sili Zhao Director of Business, Global Infstones Sili Zhao, a business analyst and graduate of the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis, joined the founder and CEO of InfStones, Dr. Shi, in 2018 and started building InfStones together. Sili and Dr. Shi worked on business development during the day and built the infrastructure at night. They responded to all incidents 24/7 by themselves and keeping track of any issues they faced. Sili, working out of his dormitory, refused to quit and was committed to pursuing his vision relentlessly. Evaluating tokens and protocols and focused on generating leads and sales. Fast-forward to today, Sili currently resides in Texas, working as InfStones’ Global Director of Business and has since delivered analytics that helped the team bootstrap business initiatives and speed up business development. He has expanded InfStones’ infrastructure support for over 70+ new blockchains, including top projects such as Chainlink, EOS, TRON, Dash, etc., and contributed to InfStones’ 300% year-over-year revenue growth 3 years in a row. https://twitter.com/InfStones
