Index, Query, Ship - HyperIndex + HyperSync Live I Jonjon Clark

Sun, Nov 2, 2025, 12:00 AM

Jonjon Clark (Nivo) shows how to build fast, multi-chain blockchain indexers with HyperIndex and fetch raw chain data with HyperSync. He demos real-time dashboards (swaps, liquidity, prices, liquidations), then live-codes an indexer that tracks Aave flash-loan events across Ethereum + Arbitrum using nvo init, auto-generated handlers, GraphQL queries, and schema edits. He closes with HyperSync use cases (data analysis, explorers), the web query builder, and docs/prize pointers. 00:09 Intro, prizes, why indexing matters 01:50 Multi-chain pain → HyperIndex 03:46 Example dashboards (swaps, liquidity, prices, stablecoins, liquidations) 07:08 What HyperIndex is (fast, multi-chain, dev-first) 08:38 Live build: nvo init, import ABI, select events 10:59 Add second network (Arbitrum), autogen project 12:02 Run dev indexer, rapid sync over millions of blocks 13:11 Query with GraphQL (biggest flash loans) 14:56 Project structure: config, handlers, schema 16:22 Edit schema/handlers (add timestamp), regenerate, rerun 17:37 Q&A: all users, wildcard indexing (ERC20 approvals/transfers) 19:40 HyperIndex recap 20:04 Real-time data, speed notes; HyperRPC vs RPC 21:30 HyperSync intro (fast data node/service, clients) 22:37 Use cases: chain density, Hypertui, log scanners, explorers, approvals tool 25:10 Web Query Builder demo: filters, fields, execute, CSV 27:22 Support links, final Q&A (agent use case, data source, Hypersync service) _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ 💻 ETHOnline 2025 This workshop is specifically for ETHOnline 2025, a 21-day hackathon held October 10 - 31, 2025, bringing together the most skilled web3 developers, designers and product builders from all around the globe for a weekend-long adventure to advance the Ethereum ecosystem! _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ ✅ Follow Envio X: https://x.com/envio_indexer ✅ Follow ETHGlobal X: https://x.com/ETHGlobal Warpcast: https://warpcast.com/ethglobal Website: https://ethglobal.com YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/c/ETHGlobal _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _Are you interested in Ethereum development and entrepreneurship?_ 👉 Sign up for the next ETHGlobal event: https://ethglobal.com/events 🎁 Get exclusive access and perks with ETHGlobal Plus! https://ethglobal.com/plus 📣 Want us to throw an event in your city?
