Okay guys, thank you very much for coming. Uh I see some familiar faces, some new faces. So I'm going to tell you briefly what uh who we are and why we are getting here. So me, I'm Jimmy and here is Emil in the back. We are co-founders of Pola.

Poland. This is the community that uh is mostly mostly gathered around Polka Dot. But uh but we're not like you know maximalist and then I guess that uh closing us in silos is not the good way to build like the true web three. So uh Polka Dot Poland was found like three two three years ago. it was uh it evolved from the small community to the to the local DAO.

So right now we are also established on chain as a as a DAO community small DAO and uh we operate onchain and also vote on chain on any proposal that is happening on polka dot for funding on any other kind of development because uh as you maybe know the polka dot is uh full-fledged dow so each kind of decision that is made uh about the protocol development updates and whatever is must be voted ed by the community. So we are kind of active on chain as well not only uh in the local like social area. So basically why we are here with DTM Warso this is the like I mentioned this briefly I believe that uh if you want to build a true web three uh we need to be chain agnostic and uh be totally open on the social layer because otherwise uh you know we are make we are building bridges for the infrastructure and stuff like that. So I guess that's it's also good to build bridges on the social layer of web three if you want to if you want to develop this. So our idea is to connect and bring web three builders together not put them in silos like you know Ethereum ICP Salana community or whatever.

We want to educate people about what's good in Polka Dot. Not only for the Polka Dot and and RAS developers as RAS is native language in Polka Dot, but also for any other people who are keen on uh developing web 3, building applications uh rollups and stuff like that. And we are here to collaborate as you see uh with the Ethereum Warso community. Thanks Martina for everything and for having us here. and also uh pot right.

So uh so yeah so this is like why we are here basically we want to build a local web free community word like word in Poland maybe not worldwide but locally. Uh so this is like main idea what why we are here what we are not closing uh ourselves in the in these closed siloed group. Some of you uh already went to attended our like more casual events like even on the bark or uh any other parties but this time we want to I want to bring you some kind of stuff that is I feel it's interesting from the from the perspective of builders community and developers and maybe uh more uh web3 community than the polka dot per se. So the first thing to uh get you started with uh and the first point of touch is the polka dot wallet. I I I encourage everyone to to download it because they will we will have some quiz later on and you will be able to get some uh some rewards in dot on your new created wallet if you want.

So uh this is the this is the QR code to download the wallet and as you can see you can like from Nova wallet this is our like uh flagship mobile wallet you can do staking from the from the wallet perspective from the from the world level you can do trading and like swap tokens all of the tokens in the polar ecosystem something similar to Metamas but you don't need any crosschain in uh stuff and we know don't need any to cross any bridges because every in polar dot every project every roll up that is connected to pola dot is natively interoperable so you don't need any bridge to uh to cross trainin your assets so you can do this everything from the wallet level and you can also participate in the open governance also voting from the from the wallet level so it's super handy and basically it covers all of the operations that you can do in the in the polar. System. So if if you are interested in getting some rewards eventually claiming our uh memo NFT later on at the end. So if you don't have the Nova wallet, I'll recommend you to uh to download it. Uh so yeah, so why polka dot and why now?

Uh basically uh Polka Dot allows you to build your own like if you are more Ethereum familiar Polut allows you to build your own rollups as you build like layer 2 on Ethereum and each roll up connected to the pola dot as a relay chain is fully interoperable and uh is getting uh receiving the shared security. So it's being secured by the all of the six billion economic security from the relay chain. So if you will ever think about building like your sovereign sovereign rollup, you don't need to think about uh getting all of the validators to secure your network because it's it's being secured by the uh by the relay chain validators from day one. So so this is like super super cool stuff from my perspective. uh polka dot hub this is quite a new thing that uh is being launched now and the polka dot hub will allow you to build uh smart contracts uh solidity smart solidity smart contracts on polka dot so you would not won't need any recompilers any other additional infrastructure to build your contracts on polka dot you just deploy solidity as you deploy it every Okay.

Uh if you are Ethereum familiar and uh and it will have access and interoperability with all of the parach chains and all of the polka dot ecosystem blockchains connected to polka dots. There are around uh 50 blockchains already each one with the unique use case. So as you can see here uh also is mentioned that you can deploy without switching stacks. So uh it's live now on testn net mainet on polar.hub hub will be uh launched on November.

We will have some other events uh in in uh September and October. So if you guys are u truly interested into this uh you'll have a chance to if you will attend our other following meetups, you'll have a chance to learn a little bit more about it. So yeah, so this is like basically information how to deploy CD smart contracts. As I said, works like foundry with the AVM. uh it lowers the barrier for Ethereum developers.

You don't need to learn any new language, any new stack. If in authority you can deploy directly on polka dot today and uh with the QR code if you want uh you can scan the QR code and we will take you to the uh to the developer website when you will have all of the tutorials and all of the um like uh walk through how to how to develop your deploy your smart contracts on polka dot and you can try to hack with it and uh deploy them on test net. So I'll I'll encourage everyone to try to hack a bit about it and then uh get familiar with what you can do there because uh that's what uh comes next. It's the upcoming Polka Dot online hackathon. It will start around October.

I know that some of you guys are already warming up for the Ethereum Warso hackathon. So I guess that's the that that's the good pipeline. Uh if you will uh if you will attend the Ethereum hackathon there's uh also uh a big chance to and an opportunity to participate in the polarot global online hackathon. It will last like six weeks and uh and there will be online workshops, online tutorials during those six weeks with the pola dot developers with the pola dot rollups founders where you can will be able to learn how to deploy uh par uh like applications smart contracts directly on built directly on the each parach chain each rollup stack or uh directly uh directly on polka dot. This uh hackathon as I said will start in November.

This is only a teaser for now. If uh if you guys will be willing to participate, you can scan the QR code and then I guess that we will have some following meetups where uh if if there is anyone interested like the like the single solopreneurs, solo hackers or eventually if you want to join by with the team uh it will be also possible. So uh on the future uh future meetups uh we will be collecting your interests. I will also attend the Ethereum Warso to eventually get some interest from the Ethereum Warso hackers. So I guess that's the that's a good opportunity also for you if you are the builders to first uh uh get uh get on polka dot get some learnings from from uh sorry from uh from those tutorials and those uh learning materials and also what is uh what is super important and what I want to encourage everyone to consider leader is the polka dot blockchain academy.

The polka dot blockchain academy is the place where you can uh learn basics of web three and basics of polka dot technology stack. It's uh the poly blockchain academy has two tracks. One is the online track. Another one is the stationary campus that is happening like three times a year already. It's a first edition this year.

So so Ethereum is uh is something like that is called work computer. Uh I will argue with that but it's not the time and place to do this. Uh yeah. Yeah.

But but for for the for the present utilities, it's uh it's more than enough I guess as we see uh it's like the biggest biggest smart contract platform and then than the I guess the most used in the whole ecosystem. yeah we see the paji is the best like I guess it's the most known IP on the Ethereum uh regarding games and uh paji party uh is coming to Polka Dot. The new game developed by the mythical chain that is the gaming uh par chain on polka dot the gaming rollup on polka dot they already released like two like big blockbuster games mobile games. One is called NFL rivals and another one is FIFA Rivals. Those two games are officially licensed by NFL and FIFA and you can download them on mobile and uh in the in the back end those games have uh blockchain technology. So each uh asset you receive in the game can be minted as an NFT.

So this is like coming like true ownership of your assets and then you're true owner of of your game experience. It's like never happened before on the on the big uh mobile blockbuster games. And right now the thanks to the polka dot technology and thanks to the polka dot architecture is being possible. So for the FIFA uh rivals uh metal games already uh got around 5 million users playing the game and uh everything is going on the blockchain back end. So thanks to the polar technology scalability and architecture.

uh I will not go into uh details in intricacies right now but thanks to the scalability of polka dot it's possible to like you know host 5 million users playing the game uh at at a time so so this is something new uh it's coming on tomorrow so I guess that's uh that's something that uh maybe will give you some uh some teaser about how the game and how the game play is going on so enjoy Heat. No, jam is not launched yet. It's it's being launched on the it's being launched on the pula uh roll up called metthical metals chain as you can see here.

And uh and yeah, metical chain is is uh roll up dedicated to gaming.

So roll up on top of the

on top of pallet. Yep. on top of py chain is power chain is a rollup as as per se right so just like you know as a ethereum rollups layer two or whatever so this is like you know in polar they're called parach chains right so so this game is built on on one of the parach chains one of the rollups uh with the use case to build dedicated to build gamings on so if you have a game developers as well it's uh also a good way to uh explore mythical games chain where you can have like you know g full gaming gaming developer stack and you can try to build your own games like uh indie games or whatever. Uh so yeah so as I told you uh you can pre-download pajy party from the uh app store uh the game is like you know the mobile game it will be available from tomorrow and uh there is also some uh something extra delivered by the by the pud team. If you're uh if you download the game and register uh with this QR code, they're going to release some pudgy salt bound token that will be connected with the wallet.

And I guess I'm not sure like what will be the details and what will be the utility of this token but I'm I think like uh from from what I was able to research a little bit at this SBL token will give you some extra perks like uh air drops access to some uh some additional uh tools uh competitions and stuff like that. So I guess that's that that it also shows that uh that yeah that if you want to build like web three ecosystems uh that we need full interoperability and uh polarot is one of the one of the uh ecosystems that's delivered this to any kind of application anyone any kind of rollup any kind of smart contract that you want to put there. Uh so you mentioned about the EVM implementation on polka dot and I was wondering on how exactly this is going to be implemented like is this going to be a another pallet which is going to be just put into the existing par chains or the current um uh pallet is going to be

it's uh voca. Asset hub if you are familiar with polka dot asset hub. Polka dot asset is evolving to polka dot hub uh where all of the staking balances uh governance will be transferred to this system chain like polarhub and from November you will be able to deploy solidity smart contracts directly on polar hub so you'll have access to all of the tokens all of the staking uh all of the liquidity on the asset hub uh you'll have access to USDT USDC on on asset hub and all of the tokens in the polar ecosystem.

Okay. But you're not going to be able to run um solidity smart contracts on par chains.

Yep. All you are like on parach chains. You are able to do this now on certain parach chains like master stuff like that. But you will not you won't need to do this because you can deploy smart contract directly on poker. And it will be fully interoperable with all of the par chains with the
