Explore how DIMO (Digital Infrastructure Inc.) is transforming transportation data into an open, composable environment for developers and drivers. Yevgeny Khessin (CTO & co-founder) shows how DIMO aggregates vehicle telemetry, verifies it on-chain, and enables an entire ecosystem of services – from EV charging, car sharing, and insurance to gaming and more. Discover how DIMO’s smart contract registry, client libraries, and open devices empower builders to create decentralized ride-hailing, AI-based maintenance checks, or universal charging networks. If you’re interested in merging real-world mobility with Web3 composability, this talk reveals DIMO’s blueprint for a programmable future in automotive. 00:00 Introduction & Personal History 01:12 The Automotive Data Silo Problem 02:40 DIMO’s Mission & Open Network Approach 03:46 Solving “Shared State” with a Blockchain Registry 05:05 Dev-Friendly Tools: Telemetry, Verification & APIs 06:12 Verifiable Real-World Data: Mapping Challenges & Rewards 07:33 Example Apps: Carvis (AI Chatbot), Helium Mapping, Games 09:01 Future of EV Charging & Rental on DIMO 10:12 Smart Contract Shared Ownership (AutoDAO) 11:25 Developer Entry: Documentation & Sdk 12:28 Call to Action & Vision for a Programmable Car Ecosystem 14:00 Conclusion & Contact Info _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ 🇺🇸 *Pragma San Francisco* Pragma San Francisco 2024 was a special gathering of founders and builders that took place October 16th and 17th at The Contemporary Jewish Museum in San Francisco, CA.
