Zero Knowledge Proofs enable novel applications by offering succinct and privacy-preserving verification of arbitrary computations, leading to their rapid adoption in blockchains. However, this new and powerful technology comes with many new security risks. In this talk, we give a comprehensive overview of ZK application security, detail specific security bugs we have found in real-world projects, and suggest ways to mitigate these new dangers.
