Lit Protocol Workshop I ETHGlobal New York 2025

Thu, Oct 2, 2025, 12:00 AM

What if every user’s wallet came with a programmable, always-on co-pilot for DeFi—across any blockchain? Meet Vincent, a platform built on Lit Protocol that lets developers create non-custodial DeFi automation agents to handle complex cross-chain tasks like rebalancing, gas management, and bridging—without the user lifting a finger. In this ETHGlobal New York 2025 workshop, you’ll learn: - How Vincent’s agent wallets work and how to request onchain permissions (similar to OAuth, but for smart contracts). - How to define delegate addresses, abilities, and granular policies like daily spending limits or credential-gated DeFi actions. - How to execute transactions through Vincent’s SDK or Model Context Protocol server, with validation by the Lit Protocol network. - Real-world app ideas—crypto index baskets, copy trading strategies, and automated derivatives plays. Built on secure, programmable signing and encryption powered by MPC-TSS in TEEs, Lit Protocol already secures nearly $200M in assets. Whether you’re building on your own server, LLM, or decentralized compute network, Vincent helps you launch powerful cross-chain DeFi experiences with user trust and compliance at the core. 00:00 Intro: Always-on DeFi co-pilot 00:34 What is Vincent 00:57 How to create a Vincent app 01:17 Built on Lit Protocol 01:47 Abilities & granular policies 02:07 Transaction execution process 02:29 DeFi automation ideas 02:48 Closing & call to action _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ 🇺🇸 *ETHGlobal New York* This workshop is specifically for ETHGlobal New York, a 3-day hackathon held August 15-17, bringing together the most skilled web3 developers, designers and product builders from all around the globe for a weekend-long adventure to advance the Ethereum ecosystem!
