[Music] thank you very much for joining us for the diva Awards uh it's unbelievable to think the fact that we are on the 10th year of Devcon so it's uh quite quite unbelievable innovatively start appreciating the community in some respect especially since con is somewhat of a community and family reunion for most of us we do attend a lot of events throughout the year but Devcon becomes that core Keystone event that everyone comes to to meet their friends and really get the movement going towards progression in the ecosystem so one thing to keep in mind that is that D.A awards are very light-hearted they're not meant to signal boost or Mark any sort of accomplish beyond the fact that the death conon team and our personal opinions uh factored into these Awards so we don't want to create any toxicity or any problems in the ecosystem based on these Awards um but the awards allow the community to kind of Express their appreciation for the projects and the individuals who have significantly put their life forward for moving the ecosystem forward and we're hoping that you guys come together with us and congratulate the uh the nominees so we have five categories the first one are bounty hunters so these are individuals on the bug Bounty program on ethereum.org the next category is community Watchdogs these are individuals and dashboards watching the network the next category is z ethereum these are applications or projects making a big impact on the world unsung Heros are projects or people that don't even think about that have a huge impact on the ecosystem and the last one is reliability at scale award and um we'll move on to the actual categories so the first category is bug bounty hunters every day we rely on the security and resilience of ethereum to power Innovation creativity and freedom but behind the scenes there are individuals who serve as our invisible Guardians our dedicated protectors protecting us against vulnerabilities threats and participating in the bug boundy program the nominees or the leaderboard for this category comes from ethereum.org for the bug Bondi program and the winners are weer Rankin Martin and Proto Lambda uh Proto will be joining us on stage to accept the award on behalf of everyone participating in the program and talk a little bit about the bug Bing program and the impact it has on ethereum please put your hands together for a [Applause] Proto you want to say something yeah yes um well first of all a shout out to G Franken and Martin host sender guo is leading the leaderboards across the exclusion layer and the consensus layer Martin is doing very well on the exclusion layer side and as of today I'm still leading the consensus layer dater board although I'm Keen to see more entrance in the book Bounty program to you know take this spot and uh help ethereum find these critical vulnerabilities so to get started if you're new to the book Bounty program the eum foundation Host this program with the security team they point you to these different projects that all are eligible for the book bounties so this is not just etherum Foundation projects but also execution layer clients and consensus layer clients outside of the foundation think of nethermind or argon or Gaff or sorry Nimbus all these projects they deserve a a you know a look for the greater Goods of ethereum and uh this can you know work through different means gido is an excellent fer he specializes in a particular area to find bucks Martin is a you know somebody cor to the G team very knowledgeable about the ex execution layer and I found my way to security not through you know a classical security approach but by building lots of tooling and giving me this you know this background understanding of how things fit together to then find you know the the vulnerabilities in the edges of the the stack thank much all right thank you very much and the next category is community Watchdogs yeah all right so the next category Community Watchdogs um so the Community Watchdog award category is designed to honor projects organizations that actively uphold transparency security and accountability within the ethereum ecosystem so this cat category highlights the importance of initiative initiatives that prioritize monitoring and data analytics so yeah these are essential for maintaining trust and integrity in a decentralized environment and yeah let me introduce the nominees to you L2 beat defi scan grow the pie blue ship Beacon chain ether scan rated Network and dune analytics please give a a round of applause for all the nominees and the winner is L2 beach woo if if we have btech or anyone representative of l2b please come up on stage and accept your prize and give us a little bit context about uh why dashboards and analytics are so important to the ecosystem at this point thank you very much another round of applause for al2 beat um thank you so much I'm P the co-founder of eltu beat uh I haven't prepared any Speech cuz I wasn't expecting to win anything as el2 be uh what I can say is that the reason that we do all of it is because we really believe that uh the vision for blockchains should be accessibility for everyone and transparency in how the the protocols that we interact with uh you know show should like when as I said I haven't prepared anything but when you interact with stuff right you really want to know what you're doing this is in contrast to the existing structures like the banking system where everything is very opaque the blockchain gives us a opportunity to make it transparent it's hard to do that without people like us that help uh normal people understand all of it it's very hard to do we're uh trying to do it uh better every time and and I hope that uh we can Inspire even more people to to do what we do and I don't know thank you very much thank you very much the next category is real world ethereum okay next category real world ethereum the real world ethereum ours owners the project that bridge ethereum Technologies with practical real world application showcasing its impact beyond the blockchain this year um we wanted to highlight some amazing projects who are making real world ID more practical using web3 Technologies so nominees minor wallet ERC 4337 compatible wallet that utilize Japan government issues my number card as a hardware wallet enabling secure and user friendly transactions next Anon Adar a zero knowledge proof allowing Adar ID owners to prove their identity in a privacy preserving way facilitating secure interactions without compromising personal information next proof for passport passport NFC technology to create sbts providing secure and verifiable digital identity and lastly ZK passport a project that enables users to generate privacy preserving ID proofs using their knowledge technology allowing selective disclosure of personal information please give a round of applause for all the nominees woo yay okay then the winner is unnown adart congratulations if theone from the anadar team is here please come up to accept the award one of the key things about Anar which was quite interesting was that we had over 1,200 individuals from India participating at this deathcon which is amazing to have the diversity for the amount of individuals coming to these events and over 730 of those individuals uh use Anan adhar to uh process their discounts for the event so amazing compliment accomplishment from the Anan adhar team and congratulations for bringing that to reality all right so it's unfortunate but sometimes in the ecosystem there's individuals and communities and people that don't really get the spotlight of their shine because people don't really understand what goes into running a uh ecosystem or a network at this scale and it's uh unfortunate but we don't really remember that decentralized ecosystems also require infra and Dev Ops is an essential part of the ecosystem maintaining Network stability ensuring security and supporting continuous improvements across the decentralization of the ecosystem and for that reason we wanted to highlight one of the key uh teams within the EF that has been uh responsible for uh putting up the test Nets maintaining all the devops and making sure that the network retains itself and processes as it's necessary and we' like to call up the e panda Ops Team to come up and talk a little bit about their role what they have been doing with the uh test Nets and what you can do today with the services that that have been provided so please put your hands together for e panda [Applause] Ops thank you very much thank you hi everyone so just a few words about itend Ops if you haven't heard about us uh we are very we do execution layer and consensus layer testing in an interro fashion so we're trying to focus on uh client compatibility across different uh client pairs other focuses are uh metric collection in zatu and uh focusing on tooling such as Dora and different facets that's about it if you have any question you can go to Ito we have a Blog running the oh yeah and uh we have a meong and sapoia and Hy deset running for uh for foret running uh under meong dash [Laughter] go go to any of uh PK 910 faets and you will find the link to the Devcon specific faet URLs and then you can claim 1,000 uh testet e uh for meong 100 testet e for hosy and sepolia and another thing if you're hacking something at an e Global hackathon this week uh please use the meong test net we have all the pectra eips live so if you want to try an account abstraction wallet with EIP 7702 or you want to prod type some tooling please try all of it on me. eanda ops.
everything is live you can claim testet e like Barnabas told you if you can't then just tweet at us or something and we'll make sure you're well funded uh there's also a public RPC so please feel free to play with it thank you very [Applause] much all right then uh the next category is called the chain custodians award so the chain custodians award is created to recognize the exceptional commitment to ensuring ethereum's stability security and performance as a network skills this award celebrates the ethereum client teams for implementing robust Solutions maintaining High uptime navigating complex challenges and supporting the growth and resilience under increasing demand I'd like to ask Tim to come up here and request uh and to speak a few words about the accompl accomplishments that the client teams have done up to this point and then invite them up as well thank you um yes who here knows that ethereum has or who here does not know that ethereum has more than one client team working on it okay two guys um yeah so there are many many people who work on ethereum to keep the chain secure um we have at least five consensus layer teams five execution layer teams who sort of come in day in they out have to agree to each other on hard Forks um and have to each make sure that their individual implementations work but also interoperate with all of their counterpart clients this is a lot of work um but they do it well the ethereum chain has never gone down in large part because we have different clients when one of them has a bug the other one the other ones usually don't um so yeah I like to bring um is there a slide with everyone we're just going to call okay okay so um do we have gu anyone from gu here come on Sage gu come on don't be shy gu woo uh Basu anyone from Basu Basu last call okay no one from Basu but um oh Bas is coming Bas is coming sorry uh nethermind some nethermind from there never mind come on come on um Aragon I saw someone from Aragon Andrew um anyone from W here WTH okay re is coming on awesome okay prism prism folks yes prism coming over Lighthouse Nimbus teu loar grandine etherum JS portal any client that I forgot because now I'm going to feel bad I think we got all the clients okay come on on yeah please everyone give a big round of applause for all the client [Applause] devs yes these are all the people you can go to after to get your things put into the protocol all right thank you very much uh as you can see by the amount of individuals working on these projects and the fact that some of them unfortunately do not get the spotlight because of the CLI diversity issues ETC so want to make sure that every individual and every team gets the same amount of respect and uh appreciation for the amazing work that they put forward and please give a round of applause for the teams and then appreciate the work thank you very [Applause] much thank you very much for joining us for the D.A Awards we will be having the closing ceremony on this stage at 4M so please join us in a bit of time and then we'll see you soon thank you very much wo
