Provers Networks from First Principle I Uma Roy at Pragma Denver 2025

Thu, Oct 2, 2025, 12:00 AM

Join Uma Roy, Co-Founder and CEO of Succinct Labs, at Pragma Denver 2025 to explore how Prover Networks will power the next era of ZK rollups, verifiable computing, and scalable blockchains. Discover why ZK proofs are uniquely suited for decentralized physical infrastructure, how SP1 makes zero-knowledge computation easy with just “normal code,” and how Succinct’s upcoming Prover Network aims to align cryptoeconomic incentives between supply-side GPU providers and demand-side rollups, L2 chains, and more. If you’re curious about the exponential growth of ZK performance, or how decentralized auctions and specialized hardware will drive down costs for verifiable computation, this talk dives into the future of unstoppable Web3 scaling. 00:00 Introduction & Transition to Prover Networks 00:59 Background: Large-Scale Compute Buildouts (Bitcoin, AI) 02:15 ZK as the Next Big Compute Paradigm 03:00 Introducing SP1: Making ZK VM Development Easy 04:08 Demand for ZK Proofs: Rollups & Beyond 05:42 Comparing ZK to Economic Security & Scaling 07:00 Why a Decentralized Prover Network?
