MERGE Madrid 2026 | Institutional Summit at Bolsa de Madrid

The MERGE Madrid 2026 Institutional Summit, sponsored by BitGo, Cecabank, Crypto Finance and Rain, brought together leaders from banking, market infrastructure and digital assets for an afternoon at Bolsa de Madrid, the bridge between traditional finance and the onchain economy. Speakers from Banco Santander, BBVA, Deutsche Börse, Western Union, Openbank, Unicaja, ABANCA, Anchorage Digital, BitGo and Optimism, among others, explored blockchain as a new corridor for cross-border finance, how financial institutions are responding to growing demand for digital assets, the future of digital dollars, and the infrastructure needed to tokenize, settle and move money onchain. The day closed with drinks in the garden and the VIP Cocktail Dinner.
