The process includes deploying ERC20-compatible OFT contracts, wiring them for cross-chain communication, and sending tokens between chains. Krak explains the underlying mechanics: OFTs extend ERC20 with bridge logic for debiting (burning/locking) tokens on the source chain and crediting (minting/unlocking) on the destination, using LayerZero’s push-based messaging and message encoding/decoding.
