Building AI Agents the Web3 Way I Gathin T

Sat, May 2, 2026, 12:00 AM

In this workshop, Gathin T introduces 0G (ZeroG), a Layer 1 EVM-compatible blockchain purpose-built for on-chain AI. He walks through 0G's four core pillars: decentralized storage offering up to 95% cost savings compared to AWS S3, a data availability layer with 50 Gbps throughput, a compute layer providing verifiable inferencing through trusted execution environments with ZKML proofs, and a service marketplace for GPU providers to register and earn from model deployments. Gathin T highlights key technical benchmarks including 11K TPS per shard and sub-second block finality, and introduces ERC-7857 (Intelligent NFTs / Agentic IDs), a standard that binds NFT identities to AI agents for ownership transfer and inter-agent payments. He covers 0G's ecosystem stats including 300+ partners and $325M in funding, the Guild grants program offering $8.8M in ecosystem support, and details the hackathon's $15K bounty pool across three tracks: best OpenClaw agent, best DeFi app, and a wildcard track. The session closes with resources for vibe coding with 0G's AI skills and documentation. 00:00 Introduction and What Is 0G 00:51 0G's Four Core Pillars Overview 01:18 0G Chain: EVM Compatibility and Mainnet 01:41 Testnet Tokens and Getting Started 02:02 0G Storage: Why Native Decentralized Storage 03:15 Data Availability Layer 03:34 Compute: Verifiable Inferencing in TEE 04:42 Transparency and Censorship Resistance 05:07 On-Chain Fine-Tuning 05:36 Service Marketplace for GPU Providers 06:14 Storage Cost Comparison: AWS S3 vs 0G 06:47 DA Throughput, TPS, and Block Finality 07:08 ERC-7857: Intelligent NFTs and Agentic IDs 08:26 Mainnet Stats and Ecosystem Overview 09:00 Guild Grants Program 09:27 Alignment Nodes and Governance 10:47 ETH Global Hackathon Bounties 11:34 Vibe Coding Resources and AI Skills 12:40 Telegram Group and Faucet Support 13:02 Q&A _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ *ETHGlobal Cannes 2026* This workshop is specifically for ETHGlobal Cannes 2026, a 3-day hackathon held April 3-5 at the Palace of Festivals and Congresses of Cannes, bringing together the most skilled web3 developers, designers and product builders from all around the globe for a weekend-long adventure to advance the Ethereum ecosystem!
