Mon, Oct 2, 2023, 12:00 AM

Kartik Talwar, co-founder of ETHGlobal, kicks off Pragma Paris 2023 with a powerful welcome and introduction to the day’s programming. In this opening session, Kartik outlines the vision of Pragma, explains why Ethereum scalability and pragmatism matter now more than ever, and previews a full day of interviews, announcements, and conversations—not talks—about the future of Ethereum, zero-knowledge proofs, ZK rollups, modular architecture, and more. With attendees from 47 countries, this single-track summit brings together leading thinkers and builders from the Ethereum ecosystem to share new ideas and real product launches—including major updates from Polygon, ZKsync, StarkWare, Worldcoin, Base, and Aztec. 00:00 Welcome to Pragma Paris 00:43 Why we created Pragma 01:12 Focus on Ethereum's future and scalability 01:39 Single-track format and non-technical talks 02:07 Six interviews and six live announcements 03:04 NFT claim via Zora for attendees 03:36 375 attendees from 47 countries 03:50 Thank you to sponsors and partners 04:04 Schedule overview and logistics 04:35 Morning session speaker lineup 05:31 Afternoon session highlights 06:05 Final talks and event close _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ 🇫🇷 *Pragma Paris* Pragma Paris took place at the Pavillion Vendome in Paris on July 20, 2023, and was an in-person summit for builders and leaders in the web3 ecosystem. Pragma is a one-stage conference with founders-only on stage, bringing together a small group of curated attendees and speakers to discuss the future of web3 and reflect on the past. Ever since we first introduced our new event series Pragma in Tokyo of the spring of 2023, we have been fostering a curated, global community of individuals who deeply care about web3. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ ✅ *Follow Kartik Talwar* X: https://x.com/therealkartik Warpcast: https://warpcast.com/kartik ✅ *Follow ETHGlobal* X: https://x.com/ETHGlobal Warpcast: https://warpcast.com/ethglobal Website: https://ethglobal.com YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/c/ETHGlobal _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _Are you interested in Ethereum development and entrepreneurship?_ 👉 Sign up for the next ETHGlobal event: https://ethglobal.com/events 🎁 Get exclusive access and perks with ETHGlobal Plus! https://ethglobal.com/plus 📣 Want us to throw an event in your city?
