Decentralized AI: Crypto’s Killer Apps? | ETHSofia 2024

As artificial intelligence reshapes industries, the question arises—how can crypto and blockchain technologies power the next wave of AI innovation? This panel discussion brings together leading minds from Chainbase, ICP, Extropy, and ORA to discuss how decentralized AI can transform DeFi, DAOs, and decentralized infrastructure, while also addressing critical issues like privacy, censorship resistance, and AI ownership. Unlike traditional AI models controlled by centralized tech giants, decentralized AI leverages blockchain to create transparent, secure, and user-owned AI systems. But is blockchain technology ready for AI’s massive computational demands? What are the real-world use cases already in development? And can Ethereum and other decentralized networks support AI in a scalable way? 🧠 Panelists: Luki Song (Chainbase) – Expert in blockchain data and decentralized AI. Josip Vlah (ICP) – Innovator in decentralized cloud computing and AI-powered blockchain applications. Laurence Kirk (Extropy) – Leading blockchain developer and AI researcher. Aleksandar Hadzibabic (ORA) (Moderator) – AI and blockchain thought leader. This video was recorded during the ETHSofia Conference and Hackathon - October 17-19, 2024. ETHSofia is THE crypto tech conference in Sofia, Bulgaria, bringing together enthusiasts, developers, researchers, and academia focused on Ethereum and other L1 chains. The conference is supported by the Ethereum Foundation and made possible by the generous contributions of industry leaders.
