Ram Kumar I The Future of AI is Specialized, Why General Models Aren't Enough I Pragma Denver 2025

Thu, Oct 2, 2025, 12:00 AM

Join Ram Kumar, Co-Founder of Openledger, at Pragma Denver 2025 for a deep dive into why specialized AI models are the future, and why broad “general” language models alone aren’t enough to power advanced Web3 agents. Discover how fine-tuned adapters, domain-specific datasets, and decentralized infrastructure enable AI solutions to be more accurate, proactive, and scalable—ranging from DeFi intelligence and specialized programming assistants to code-auditing agents. Ram showcases how Open Ledger helps data contributors and builders collaborate, monetize, and ensure proof of attribution on-chain. If you’re ready to move beyond generic chatbots and leverage AI models tailored to your niche, this is your roadmap to building next-generation Web3 agents. 00:00 Introduction & Talk Overview 00:13 The Rise of AI & Everyday Applications 01:30 Why Web3 Cares About Specialized AI 02:43 General Models vs. Specialized Models 03:18 Current State of Agents in Web3 04:24 The Road to Proactive, Autonomous Agents 05:00 Building Specialized Models on Open Ledger 06:19 Data Contributors & Tokenized Model Proposals 07:29 Fine-Tuning Workflow & Lora Adapters 08:37 Model Evaluation & Chat Testing 09:20 Deployment with Open Lora Framework 10:15 Proof of Attribution & Rewards for Data 11:02 Real-World Use Cases & Future Vision 11:41 YouTube Analogy & Conclusion _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ 🇺🇸 *Pragma Denver* Pragma Denver 2025 was held on February 25th at ReelWorks in Denver, Colorado and was an in-person summit for builders and leaders in the web3 ecosystem.
