Building with USDC and Circle Developer Platform I Blessing Adesiji

Thu, Oct 2, 2025, 12:00 AM

Blessing Adesiji from Circle presents at ETHGlobal, focusing on building with USDC and the Circle Developer Platform. The talk covers Circle’s mission to enable frictionless, borderless money movement using regulated stablecoins like USDC. Key developer services are explained: wallet infrastructure (developer-controlled, user-controlled, modular wallets), gas station for gasless transactions, compliance engine for real-time risk screening, and CCTP (Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol) for seamless USDC transfers across EVM-compatible blockchains. The new CCTP v2 offers faster-than-finality transfers. Circle Paymaster enables users to pay gas fees in USDC. The session details four bounty categories: multi-chain USDC payment systems, enabling gas payments in USDC, creating gasless experiences, and building smart wallets with dynamic security controls. Q&A covers compliance engine data sources, differences between CCTP v1 and v2, and technical details of cross-chain transfers. Extensive documentation and resources are available for developers. 00:00 Introduction 00:40 Circle’s Mission and Developer Services Overview 02:28 Wallet Infrastructure: Developer, User, Modular 05:39 Gas Station and Gasless Transactions 06:37 Compliance Engine and Risk Screening 07:12 Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP) & CCTP v2 08:30 Circle Paymaster: Paying Gas in USDC 10:09 Circle Bounties Overview 10:37 Multi-Chain USDC Payment System Bounty 12:13 Gas Payments in USDC Bounty 13:15 Gasless Experience Bounty 13:40 Smart Wallets with Dynamic Security Bounty 15:20 Q&A: Compliance Engine 16:25 Q&A: Compliance Data and Quick Start 17:39 Q&A: CCTP v1 vs v2 and Technical Details 20:25 Conclusion and Closing _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ 🇫🇷 *ETHGlobal Cannes* This workshop is specifically for ETHGlobal Cannes, a 3-day hackathon held July 4-6, bringing together the most skilled web3 developers, designers and product builders from all around the globe for a weekend-long adventure to advance the Ethereum ecosystem!
