Ayush Ranjan I DePIN Evolution I Huddle | Pragma New York 2023

Mon, Oct 2, 2023, 12:00 AM

Explore the future of real-time communication with Ayush Ranjan, Founder of Huddle01, as he introduces a revolutionary DePIN (Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network) approach to WebRTC. Recorded live at Pragma New York 2023, this workshop dives into how Huddle01 is creating a people-powered network to rival centralized services like Zoom and Google Meet. Ayush walks us through the architecture, token incentives, and node infrastructure powering this decentralized audio/video platform—plus a live demo on running a Huddle node yourself. If you're interested in DePIN, privacy, decentralized video conferencing, or building with WebRTC in a crypto-native way, this is a must-watch. 00:00 Introducing Huddle and DePIN 01:13 The origin of Huddle01 at ETHGlobal 02:10 What Huddle01 is and how it works 03:09 Why DePIN matters and sector overview 04:12 Decentralized infrastructure use cases 05:04 Real-time communication and latency 06:32 Centralized WebRTC vs Huddle01 model 07:30 Story of latency impact in rural India 08:52 How Huddle01 nodes power real-time calls 10:16 Unlocking RTC economy through token design 11:38 How Huddle SDKs power Web3 and Web2 apps 12:36 Live node demo walkthrough 14:48 Secure staking and node onboarding 15:22 Scaling and final thoughts on DePIN future _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ 🇺🇸 *Pragma New York* The fifth edition of Pragma took place in New York in September 2023 with a curated series of high-quality talks that sparked thought and discussion.
